Content ownership and usage
Creators keep ownership of the content they make. Unless a listing says otherwise, completing a PostPass opportunity gives the business a non-exclusive right to repost the final published content organically for 12 months with visible creator credit. Paid advertising, whitelisting, editing beyond basic formatting, raw footage, source files, and usage beyond 12 months require a separate written agreement and may require additional creator payment.
Deliverables, approved accounts, tags, and Collab posts
Every opportunity must state the platform, format, quantity, posting window, compensation, guest policy, business account to tag, and whether an Instagram Collab post is required. After attending, the creator must publish from the creator account approved and recorded at booking, visibly tag the recorded business account where the platform supports it, and submit the required links or approved proof by the deadline. A Collab post is mandatory only when the accepted booking clearly lists it as required. A business cannot add deliverables or broaden usage after acceptance without the creator's agreement.
Gifted and paid disclosures
Creators must clearly disclose the relationship whenever they receive free access, a gift, or money. The disclosure must be easy to notice, appear with the endorsement, and comply with the platform's rules and applicable advertising law. For video, the disclosure should appear in the video itself and not only in a caption where appropriate. Vague shorthand such as “collab” alone may not adequately explain the relationship. Content that hides or omits a required disclosure may fail verification.
Asking for a visit and private contact
A creator asks for a visit by selecting a published open date and time. The visit is booked when the business accepts the request, or when PostPass confirms it for a listing where PostPass approves visits. Businesses must keep availability current and answer requests promptly. A business can also invite an approved creator to its listing; an invited creator still picks a time and asks. Private contact details and the pass appear only after confirmation and may be used only to coordinate that visit.
Check-in at the door
A creator shows their PostPass pass when they arrive. The business scans it, or checks the creator in from its guest list. A check-in records that the creator arrived and was hosted, so neither side has to confirm the visit afterwards. A business can let members of its team sign in to answer requests or to check creators in, and is responsible for what they do there.
If a creator is not hosted
A creator who arrives for a confirmed visit and is not hosted can tell PostPass from that visit. PostPass looks into it. If it is confirmed, the visit is cancelled, the creator owes no content for it, and it is recorded on the business's account. A business that does not host creators it accepted may have its listing paused.
Cancellations and no-shows
Creators and businesses should cancel through PostPass at least 24 hours before the confirmed visit and use the private booking contact for any urgent same-day change. Late creator cancellations and no-shows lower reliability and may pause marketplace access. While a creator's post is past its due date, they cannot ask for new visits until it is sent in. Late business cancellations are recorded and the creator receives priority for a replacement opportunity. Emergencies and documented safety concerns are reviewed individually.
Business plans and visits
A business plan keeps an experience listed on PostPass, where creators find it and ask to visit. Listing is open to Local creators, and Premium adds High-Reach creators: those with 50,000 or more followers or 25,000 or more views a video, as PostPass approves them. A plan has no set number of creators, visits, or posts in a month, and the number in any one month does not by itself create a refund right. The business hosts the creators it accepts and does not pay them; cash on a visit is paid by PostPass unless the business chooses to add its own. A business on a plan bought before October 8, 2026 keeps the terms shown when it bought that plan. Views, reach, bookings, and sales are never guaranteed.
Creator Pass billing
Creator Pass is a $49 monthly subscription billed through Stripe after the creator approves checkout. It renews monthly until canceled, and adds eligibility for paid opportunities; hosted visits do not require it. A creator PostPass approves as High-Reach is eligible for paid opportunities without it. Creators can use Billing in their account to stop future renewals. Cancellation is prospective; any refund for a current or prior billing period follows these Terms, the checkout disclosure, and applicable law.
Creator cash payments
Cash shown on an accepted opportunity becomes payable after the required content is submitted and verified, unless the written campaign terms state a different milestone. When PostPass processes the payment, the business funds the full creator amount plus a separately disclosed 10% PostPass service fee. The creator receives the full advertised cash amount without a PostPass creator fee. A creator must complete Stripe payout setup before a cash reward can be assigned and separately complete any requested tax profile or certification. PostPass records amount, approval, method, and status; it does not represent creator cash as escrow by default. A dispute may pause approval while the listing, booking, disclosure, and submitted link are reviewed.
Local visit safety and access
Businesses must offer a lawful, reasonably safe, accurately described, and bookable in-person experience, disclose material hazards, age or identification requirements, accessibility limits, and any extra cost before acceptance. Creators must follow the venue's disclosed safety and guest rules. Either side should leave an unsafe situation and report it promptly.
Creator agreement
Creators must accept the current Creator Agreement before approval and again when a material version changes. Booking is a specific commitment to attend, publish the recorded deliverables from the approved account, tag the recorded business, complete any required Collab invitation, disclose the relationship, and submit proof on time. Visits remain subject to account eligibility, the business accepting the request, available dates, and local inventory.
Business agreement
Businesses must accept the current Business Agreement and certify every new or resubmitted listing. Businesses agree to host every creator they accept, describe the experience accurately, honor its stated value and compensation, keep bookable dates current, maintain the account creators must tag, respond to required Collab invitations, avoid adding undisclosed deliverables, respect creator ownership, confirm attendance, and pay promised cash under the accepted campaign terms. PostPass approves creator accounts. A business chooses which approved creators it hosts and does not see private access tiers.
Questions, incidents, and review
Report a safety issue, booking problem, disputed verification, or accessibility concern through public support or email account@joinpostpass.com. Include the account email and booking or campaign reference when available. PostPass may ask both sides for supporting records before making a marketplace decision.
