MARKETPLACE RULES
Clear expectations on both sides.
Effective August 28, 2026Content ownership and usage
Creators keep ownership of the content they make. Unless a listing says otherwise, completing a PostPass opportunity gives the business a non-exclusive right to repost the final published content organically for 12 months with visible creator credit. Paid advertising, whitelisting, editing beyond basic formatting, raw footage, and usage beyond 12 months require a separate written agreement and may require additional creator payment.
Deliverables and Collab posts
Every opportunity must state the platform, format, quantity, posting window, compensation, and whether an Instagram Collab post is requested. A Collab post is optional unless the creator accepts an opportunity that clearly lists it as a required deliverable. A business cannot add deliverables after approval without the creator’s agreement.
Gifted and paid disclosures
Creators must clearly disclose the relationship whenever they receive free access, a gift, or money. The disclosure must be easy to notice and comply with the rules of the platform and applicable advertising law. PostPass may reject content that hides or omits a required disclosure.
Booking and private contact
Requesting an opportunity does not confirm a visit. The business approves the creator first; PostPass then reveals the booking contact and any private code. Both sides must confirm the date in writing. Contact information stays private until approval.
Cancellations and no-shows
Creators and businesses should cancel at least 24 hours before the confirmed visit. Late creator cancellations and no-shows lower reliability and may pause marketplace access. Late business cancellations are recorded and the creator receives priority for a replacement opportunity. Emergencies are reviewed individually.
Matching windows and replacements
The First Creator package includes a 30-day matching window and one replacement match if an approved creator cancels before completing the visit. Unused placements may qualify for a PostPass credit or refund under the campaign terms when PostPass cannot produce an eligible match within the stated window. Views, reach, bookings, and sales are never guaranteed.
Creator cash payments
Cash compensation shown on an opportunity is released only after the required content is submitted and verified. A business must fund creator compensation before the visit. Disputes pause the payout while PostPass reviews the listing, approval, booking confirmation, and submitted content.
Creator agreement
Creators agree to provide accurate audience information, accept only opportunities they can complete, follow the agreed deliverables, disclose compensation, respect the business and its guests, and submit content on time. Follower count alone never guarantees approval or Partner status.
Business agreement
Businesses agree to describe the experience accurately, honor its stated value and compensation, provide a safe and bookable visit, avoid adding undisclosed deliverables, respect creator ownership, and fund any promised cash payment. Businesses choose creators, but may not discriminate unlawfully.
